The Wakashio brokes in two
The bulk carrier broke in two on Saturday August 15th. Teams are on site to make sure that oil does not spill into the ocean.According to our colleagues from Zinfos-moris, the Wakashio broke in two this Saturday, August 15.
The director of maritime affairs, Alain Donat, announced in the columns of the "Mauritian" that the front part was to be towed in order to be sunk 1,000 km from the coast. The rear part will remain in place for the moment.
